Hammarback’s Founding Partner

B. J. (Barry) Hammarback is the founding partner of Hammarback Law Offices. A very experienced civil litigator, Barry concentrates on stray voltage litigation, agricultural law and litigation, and civil mediation. Barry also represents and supports clients with estate planning, probate, and business transactions.

Barry was raised Minnesota, Alaska, and Oregon and has lived in Wisconsin since 1978. In 1974 he graduated from University of Oregon, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1978. He has been licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Minnesota since 1978. He originally practiced in Spring Valley, Wisconsin and then founded Hammarback Law Offices in 1982. Hammarback Law Office was later moved to River Falls, Wisconsin. Barry has been admitted pro hac vice in over twenty-five states to assist farmers with civil litigation such as stray voltage, silo design, milking equipment design and maintenance, spoiled feed, bad seed, crop damage, and personal injury.

Barry believes that even in the most difficult situations, hard work and persistence will produce a favorable result. He is passionate about helping farmers struggling with life-changing legal issues.
